Work with Us

From 1 November 2026, Harpfield Primary Academy vacancies will be advertised through MyNewTerm and listed below.

As we transition to our new platform, some vacancies may remain on our previous recruitment system and may not yet appear here. You can view these opportunities via our Recruitment portal.

Harpfield Primary Academy is a welcoming, one-form-entry primary school serving children from Nursery to Year 6 in Hartshill and the surrounding area of Stoke-on-Trent. We combine the close-knit feel of a small community school with the opportunities of a national family of schools.

At Harpfield, we are committed to helping every child flourish. We nurture curiosity, ambition and confidence, ensuring that all pupils develop the knowledge, skills and self-belief they need to succeed both academically and personally. Our broad and balanced curriculum celebrates children's individual talents and interests, providing rich opportunities for them to discover their strengths and develop a lifelong love of learning.

One of the greatest strengths of our academy is the relationships we build. As a small school, we know our children and families well, creating a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and every member of staff plays an important role in shaping pupils' experiences. We work closely with parents and carers and are proud of the positive partnerships that help our children thrive.

For colleagues, Harpfield offers a rewarding place to work. Our staff are collaborative, caring and committed to putting children at the heart of everything they do. We value professional growth, encourage innovation and believe the best outcomes are achieved when staff feel trusted, respected and empowered to make a difference.

As part of Creative Education Trust, our staff benefit from the opportunities of a national family of schools while remaining rooted in the communities they serve. We are committed to creating exceptional places to work, where colleagues are supported to grow, collaborate and make a meaningful difference to the lives of young people. Through Trust-wide professional development, leadership programmes and career pathways, staff can develop their expertise and progress their careers at every stage. Colleagues also have access to a comprehensive benefits package that supports wellbeing, financial security and work-life balance.

If you are looking for a school where you can make a difference, continue to develop professionally and be part of a dedicated and welcoming team, I hope you will consider joining us.
